Home Toolkit GPT Action Privacy Policy
This page describes how the Home Toolkit GPT action handles data when a user creates or drafts issue cards through the connected API.
What this service does
The Home Toolkit GPT action is used to turn issue drafts into Trello
cards through the home-toolkit API. It is intended for
private project workflow use, including issue intake, memo creation,
and internal task tracking.
What data may be sent
When a user uses the GPT action, the following information may be sent to the API:
- issue titles and descriptions
- project and ticket classification details
- priority, labels, and workflow list targets
- steps to reproduce, expected behavior, and actual behavior
- links to screenshots, mockups, or reference material
- other structured issue fields included in the request
Authentication and connected services
The GPT action may use OAuth authentication through Auth0 to authorize access to the API.
After a request is accepted by the API, issue content may be sent to Trello in order to create or update a Trello card in the configured project workflow.
How the data is used
The submitted data is used only to:
- validate the request
- format the issue into a clean card structure
- create the corresponding Trello card
- support debugging, audit, and operational verification if needed
Data sharing
Data submitted through the GPT action may be shared with the following services as part of normal operation:
- Auth0, for authentication and token validation
- Trello, for card creation and workflow tracking
- hosting or infrastructure providers used to operate the API
Data retention
Issue content may remain stored in Trello after card creation. Basic server or operational logs may also retain limited request metadata for debugging, security, or service reliability purposes.
Sensitive information
Users should avoid submitting passwords, API secrets, payment card data, government identifiers, or other highly sensitive personal data through the GPT unless the workflow explicitly requires it and is designed for secure handling.
